The set includes:

• 1x putter – LOUDAL

• 1x midrange – DIVOČÁK

• 1x fairway driver – PAROHÁČ

• simple transport packaging (drawstring bag)

• a card with basic info about the discs

• a GRIND sticker

Plastic:

The discs are made from a baseline plastic that still has a pretty premium look :) Just like baseline plastics from other manufacturers, it offers great grip, so the disc shouldn’t accidentally slip out of your hand too easily.

The material is on the firmer side – definitely not chewing gum, but not a total brick either. And as with most baseline plastics, don’t expect crazy durability. Hit a rock or a chunky tree and it’ll probably leave a scuff or a scratch. The more of a beating the disc takes, the more stability it’ll lose. In other words, its flight characteristics will gradually change, and a well-beaten disc will tend to fly more to the right (for a right-handed backhand throw). Just something to keep in mind.

Colors:

For now, each animal comes in just one color: grey Loudal, yellow Divočák and blue Paroháč. So what you see in the picture is exactly what you’ll get.

And what about the bag?

Don’t expect any luxury here. Instead of putting the discs in a cardboard box, we threw them into a simple drawstring bag. Why? Because you’d probably throw the box away anyway, while this bag can at least join you on your first trip to the course.

But think of it mainly as packaging for the whole set, not a full-fledged disc golf bag. It’s simple, and with use it may get scuffed, dirty or eventually fall apart. That’s perfectly normal – its main job is to keep your shiny new discs together until they reach you. What you do with it after that is up to you.

Want something that’ll survive hundreds of rounds? Then you’ll need a proper disc golf bag. Don’t worry, you’ll get there eventually. 😉

Where did these discs come from?

We don’t manufacture GRIND discs ourselves. That job goes to our buddies in China, who have the proper machines and a whole lot more manufacturing experience than we do – including producing discs for some of the big international brands.

The discs are PDGA approved for use in official tournaments, although under slightly different names, as we weren’t the ones who originally submitted them for approval: Loudal, Divočák, Paroháč.
