Product detailed description
Disc type:
Putter (Putt & Approach) = discs primarily designed for those final throws into the disc golf basket and for approaching the target from short to medium distances. Putters are also great for long, straight shots. Pros can throw them well over 100 meters.
Plastic type:
Loudal is made from a baseline plastic – but that doesn’t mean it can’t have a premium look. :) Just like baseline plastics from other manufacturers, it offers excellent grip, so it won’t easily slip out of your hand when you don’t want it to.
The plastic is on the firmer side – definitely no chewing gum, but not a complete brick either. And as you’d expect from a baseline plastic, don’t count on extreme durability. Hit a rock or a chunky tree and it’ll probably leave a scuff, scratch, or dent.
The more of a beating the disc takes, the more stability it will lose. In other words, its flight characteristics will gradually change, and a well-beaten Loudal will start flying more to the right on a right-handed backhand throw.
So keep that in mind.
Colors:
For now, Loudal comes in just one color – light grey with a black stamp. So what you see in the picture is exactly what you’ll get.
P.S.
We don’t manufacture Loudal ourselves. It’s made for us by our skilled partners in China, who have the proper machinery and a whole lot more experience with disc manufacturing – including production for some major international brands.
Loudal is PDGA approved for use in official tournaments, although you’ll find it on the approved discs list under a slightly different name (our manufacturing partner had it approved before us) – check it out here >>.
