Product detailed description
Flight characteristics:
The defining characteristic of the Wave is its balance of turn and fade. Its shallow turn is capable of extending lines while its fade is subtle but reliable enough to range and place shots.
High powered throwers will see turn and hyzerflip tendencies from the Wave, while average power throwers may need a headwind assistance or anhyzer release to activate the turning capabilities of the Wave. Beginners will find a useable, yet quite overstable flight in the Wave, due to the high power requirements of wide-rimmed distance drivers.
The Wave is versatile and can perform a number of stable-understable roles.
Disc type:
Distance drivers = very fast, aerodynamically shaped discs for the longest throws. Controlling the distance driver already requires some experience, skills and especially the right throwing technique - nothing for beginners.
Plastic type:
Neutron plastic is MVP's premium opaque plastic with bright easy to find colors. This plastic is similar to Innova's Star plastic. Neutron plastic provides the disc with a very neutral flight and does not sway the flight to overstable or understable characteristics. Neutron also shares the durability characteristics of Proton plastic with their extremely durable Overmold technology.
Colors:
In most of the cases the images of the discs are only for illustration and don’t match the reality. If you like to see the real color of the chosen variant, just email us at frisbee@ultimo.cz or message us on Whatsapp (+420776819208). We’ll be happy to send you the photo so you know what the desired disc will exactly look like.
