The Pioneer backpack features:

• main storage fits up to 22 discs (in the case of drivers)
• the lid of the main storage space has two slots - one can hold a disc plus it has two hidden pencil pockets, the bottom one is smaller, ideal for a marker, scorecard, etc.
• putter pocket on the top of the bag holds up to 3 putters; also can be used as a zippered accesory pocket
• middle zippered pocket is ideal for smaller items like your phone, wallet, keys etc.
• two spacious side pockets - for a smaller jacket, snackbox, accessories, etc .; they have another pocket on the outside - ideal for a marker
• two side bottle pockets (easily fits the wider bottles and flasks like Nalgene)
• Velcro panel for patches (Atlas logo rubber patch is included with the backpack)
• Several D-rings for hooking your towel, bag-tags etc.
• high-quality workmanship + the bag is made of strong, highly durable fabric, which is also quick-drying and easy to wash
• wide and very comfortable shoulder straps with a chest strap
• comfortable padding on the back which secures a good air-flow for your back

Our impressions:

Before launching on the Czech (and European) market, we thoroughly tested the backpack. Jakub played several one-day and multi-day tournaments with as well as a number of training rounds. Here are his impressions:

Pros

• Comfort - the backpack is really comfortable on the back! It is super light, has wide shoulder straps and sufficient padding on the back. Definitely the most comfortable backpack I've tested so far.
• The capacity - completely sufficient for me personally - I can fit up to 25 discs without any problems and I always carried everything I needed in the bag, including a medium-sized snack box, which just fit into one of the side pockets.
• Discs accesibility - the entrance to the main pocket is large enough and thanks kind of softer reinforcing side panels, the discs are easy to handle, even when you are fully loaded up with the discs. I can comfortably carry up to three Bergs in the upper putter pocket and the access to them is really easy
• The material - after about three months of use, the backpack dosn't really show any signs of wear. The same goes for the zippers, which also work perfect so far

Cons

• No way to attach a stool or an umbrella - not a major problem for me, but I believe that many players will miss this feature
• Stability - although the backpack has robust plastic rails on the bottom, it sometimes tends to tip over. You just can't throw it casually to the ground and wait for it to always stay straight. However, when you are thoughtful about laying the backpack on the ground (especially on sloping terrain), you will soon forget about this shortcoming.
• Shallow putter pocket - this can be a pro or a con. Someone would like to secure the putters with a zipper for transportation, however, the pocket is so deep that the putters do not fall out of it spontaneously even when handled more abruptly, and at the same it provides an easy access to them. No, it's not a Grip bag where you can adjust the depth of your putter pocket. But again, it costs a fraction of Grip's price so what do you want? :)
